The Transportation Department of the North Central Texas Council of Governments is seeking an entry- or mid-level Transportation Planner to support grant/financial management of transit-related projects and the administration of federal transit grant program activities. This position will work with public and private transportation providers, local governments, communities, and other stakeholders. In addition, responsibilities include preparing presentations, correspondence, documentation, articles, and reports. This posting is for the mid-level Transportation Planner II position. Due to the pandemic, the North Central Texas Council of Governments is currently permitting employees to work a hybrid schedule that consists of the equivalent of a minimum of two days per week in the NCTCOG offices in Arlington, Texas, and three days remotely from home within the Dallas-Fort Worth Region.
