Responsibilities:
Job SummaryEQ Office is looking for YouthBuild students to staff the YouthBuild Construction Job Shadow Opportunity. The EQ Office/ YouthBuild Construction Associates will support:The build out of a custom spec suite on the 10th floor of 350 N Orleans in Chicago, IL. The project is focused on elevating the customer experience as another milestone in the evolving repositioning of the building. The spec suite project will follow design aesthetics used in previous EQ Office spec suites to showcase a built-out space for potential tenants.Ongoing Willis Tower Construction projectsThe project is focused on project management and administrative assistance to the iconic Willis Towers many active construction projects.ResponsibilitiesDuring their time with EQ Office, the YouthBuild Construction Associates will perform the following tasks:Learn how a spec suite plan is conceived, planned and implemented and take an active role in supporting the overall projectCorrespond and coordinate design resources (i.e. architect, contractors, furniture resources, etc.)Apply EQ Office ESG (environmental, social, governance) procedures to resourcing vendor partners using DEI and sustainability best practices.Support budget and phasing timeline management Support marketing of spec suite to leasing prospects and brokersCompetenciesWilling to think out of the box and get your hands dirty in a fast-paced environmentEager to learn Effective communicatorAbility to connect well with people, team playerProfessional demeanorReliable & prompt with attendance and deadlines
