Zurich is currently looking for interns for summer of 2022 in our Finance Business organization. We are looking to fill positions in our Finance Operations, Corporate Tax, Planning and Performance Management, Credit Risk, Treasury, and our Reinsurance teams.

These interns will work under immediate supervision while performing requested tasks alongside professionals who perform these roles. Generally, our internship is part of a summer program with an assigned mentor.

These positions will:

• Enhance the Zurich North America Value Management reporting process
• Provide expense analysis and support for the expense management team
• Support business unit reporting related to receivables and expenses
• Assist with data entry for expense management forecasts and plans
• Provide business insight through analyzing complex data

You will learn:

• Basics to understanding an insurance P&L statement
• Overview of planning & forecasting activities
• Project management skills
• Basic/intermediate SAP BPC application
• Business Objects queries and data analysis skills
• International accounting standards
• Advanced Excel skills and capabilities
• Proper interaction with other departments
• Learn about other functional areas within Zurich through day-to-day work
• Knowledge of insurance operations

Basic Qualifications:

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or related field
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor program and will be enrolled in the fall of 2022
• Two or more years of college coursework (should be a rising Junior or Senior) and no prior years of experience required in the Administrative area
• Microsoft Office experience
• Be legally eligible to work in the U.S indefinitely

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cumulative GPA at/above 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
• Problem solving skills in customer focused environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in a leadership role
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
